We are so excited that you feel God leading you to take the next step in your discipleship to Jesus by getting baptized! 

We do want to ensure that everyone who is baptized understands that baptism does not save you, only Jesus can. It is only by God's grace that we can know Him and be saved from sin, and our baptism is an outward sign of the inward work of transformation God has done in our hearts. While it is something Jesus' followers are expected to do at some point in their discipleship to Jesus, baptism itself does not save anyone.
